Hmmm, if I'm not mistaken, that's the same weekend Mahmoud Reda will be in Iowa City. (I'm not on the Kahraman board any more, so I don't have details, but I think I saw that in an email.)

It may very well be, Shira. As you know, when we plan these events, most organizers check all available calendars for conflicts. I did, and I didn't see any conflicts for the dates Bahaia and I picked. I also sent an email to local vendors, who usually know what's happening in the area, and I checked with other organizers. No one mentioned Reda in Iowa for that weekend. Let's hope both events are hugely successful!

I am loving this!! Bahaia and Bhuzstock! Awesome.

I'll be in contact with the hotel next week as I'm opening registration very soon. I'll see what we can set up and keep everyone posted. This is going to be a really fun weekend!

I'm shooting for 2011 in CT! I don't think I can afford it this year :(

BHUZSTOCK IS A GO!!!

It's all set up for Friday, July 23, at the Holiday Inn Elk Grove, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. We have the Atrium from 7 to 9 for a "hafla" type meetup with appetizers and dancing. Anyone who wants to party longer can just walk across the lobby and into the bar and continue the partaaayyy!



BHUZSTOCK is the kickoff to A HOT WEEKEND WITH BAHAIA - and the great lady herself will be there to meet Bhuzzers and non-Bhuzzers alike!

This is a very informal meetup/hafla. Feel free to get up and dance - just bring your CD -- costume optional, dance in your jeans, jammies, sweats, whatever!

I leave Sunday July 25th for Idaho but I will have to come for the meet-up Friday night. WOOT!

Been off of Bhuz for awhile - wow, this is becoming a wonderful reality!!

Anyone want to carpool from Ohio for the weekend? I am in Toledo area and have an SUV. Might as well make good use of all that extra space:)

The hotel has discounted the room rate to $69/night for a king or double. Bunk in with some friends and have a jammie party!

Dude! I wan't to stay overnight too! I'll room with someone. :) I don't want to drive 2 hours home late at night. Maybe I can get Laura to join too. :)

Ok... well I MAY be able to convince the hubby that the Saturday workshops will not interfere with my abilty to get the kids packed for the week in Idaho... if nothing else I should be able to do the morning one. Either way... I'm there for some of the weekend. WOOHOO!
