OT, but where can I find some good info on upcoming workshops in FL? Cocoa Beach is practically becoming my second home right now ,r:;

Aziza's weeklong is by invitation only, so it's not that easy to get in! :)
... but the same organizer (Andrea Farese) has great events all year long!

This sounds nice, how do you get yourself invited? Do you need to ask your instructor to put in a recommendation for you? Just wondering. I would love to go to the birthday bash in August. Are any of you ladies going? I am in Orlando, and it would be great to see familiar faces!

i will be there for the intensive workshops in august and hopefully for the JtE in november :)

I don't know how it worked for other dancers: In my case, I took various workshops with Aziza in Europe and here in Florida, but I had not heard of the weeklong before moving here. I contacted Andrea Farese to know more about it and she asked me to send her an email with my resume. Later on she called me to talk more about my dance experience and my reasons for attending the workshop. All in all she wants to be sure that you take this art form and your training very seriously and she wants to make sure that the attendees are more or less at the same level so that they can get the most out of the experience. Hope this makes sense! Anyway, contact her if you are interested!

incidently I hope I wasn't the only one who didn't like sushi lol. Andrea called and asked me and I was like "ewww...I am sure there is something else I can eat" so if you were really looking forward to the sushi... I might have ruined that thought lol... so my apologies...I will bring chocolates:)

I'll be there too, in April! I'll be 28 weeks pregnant (7 months!) :-) !! So, be kind...I won't be dancing at my best level, I'm sure, but I will certainly be TRYING my hardest!! ;-)

No worries: we'll treat you right! :-) I was there last year and everyone was very supportive (and Aziza amazing as always!): It was one of the best experiences I've ever had, so I'm sure we'll have a good time!

Sonja, you are going to be amazing!! there is always that glow on a pregnant woman when she dances!

i took a workshop with Aziza too when I was pregnant...i was only a couple of weeks, but she was really nice to me! :)

If you see a pregnant chicky around the pool Tuesday night, or relentlessly stuffing her face before the workshop on Wednesday morning, please don't hesitate to say hi! I'm a little shy about approaching other people, but I'm totally thrilled to meet everybody :-) (and for the record, so is baby, heheheh...)

I´ll be there also along with Lena Helt and our third troupe member Annamay. Do not miss out on Lenas classes, they will be fabolous! I´ve done all the stuff she´ll be teaching and since I am a student of Lenas for the past 10 years I know you won´t be dissapointed!
