Thread: Rakkasah West!

I will be vending at my booth again this year! Come and see me (and I may have another costume for you, Tanya!)... Morgana's Bellydance Bazaar ~can't remember which room I will be in, but come find me and let me know your bhuz name so I can place you!!!!!! sooooo excited! I love seeing all the stars!!!

It will be great to see everyone! Will likely be there for a bit on Saturday (got a gig that night, but if the party goes late somebody call me!), and most of the day Sunday, dancing late in the afternoon with Al Azifoon.

And of course, there will be uber(sp) shopping...............

I want to observe and take notes from Tanya...................I think you must have a strategy and I want to learn! LOL

I'm traveling to Rakkasah for the first time since moving away from the area, and looking forward to immersing myself once again in the scene! I always enjoyed Rakkasah, and it's one of the things I've really missed since moving away! I plan to go Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday, so if you see me and recognize me from my profile photo, come up and say hi! (I'm tall, about 5 feet 10 inches.)

I'll be performing on the main stage to music played by Saqra's band.

Me, too!! I'm right before you so we will definately be able to meet :) So excited for all the festivities!

awww I can't come Friday this year, but will see you on Sat/Sun. I am usually entranced by the Shiny Sparkly Things booth and spend most of my time there :)

YAY! ok so i got slot :) 4:50ish to live music on Sunday, Cab Stage :) yayayayay :)

I'll be there all weekend, my troupe (Troupe Zahra) opens the cabaret stage on Sunday.

Will probably be at the afterparty on Saturday at least for awhile, heard it was kind of a bust last year but we're staying in the hotel anyway so might as well drop by and hope for the best.

Looking forward to seeing some fellow Bhuzers dance, and hopefully I'll get to meet more of you!

I will be dancing with Troupe Zahra opening on the Cabaret stage Sunday along with Ivy.

Tanya I will have to live vicariously through your shopping experiences!!! I have spent too much this past year. Even when I don't buy it is still therapeutic!

We need to make the after party better this year... maybe talk to management and have them let us use a banquet room or something. Last year the bartenders wanted us to leave the bar so they could close......There were at least 60 of us there!

That's right, we will make our own afterparty! If enough of us show up, they will have a hard time getting rid of us!

I'll be there saturday - my first belly dance event in the SF area! I'm excited to see and meet everyone.

With that said, "Mirage, A Belly Dance Company" will be opening the Cabaret stage on Saturday at 12:30 with our Tribal/Tribal fusion-ey routine.

I'll also be appearing with The Mighty Siwa on the Main stage at 5:10 (also on Saturday) as "Dancers of the Crescent Moon".

The rest of the time I'll be shopping, don't be shy if you see me! I love meeting my Bhuz sisters!
