With that said, "Mirage, A Belly Dance Company" will be opening the Cabaret stage on Saturday at 12:30 with our Tribal/Tribal fusion-ey routine.

I'll also be appearing with The Mighty Siwa on the Main stage at 5:10 (also on Saturday) as "Dancers of the Crescent Moon".

The rest of the time I'll be shopping, don't be shy if you see me! I love meeting my Bhuz sisters!

OOOOH that was you!! I was in line waiting for my DVD and got to see your duet. I loved when you balanced the baskets for each other. Cute.

Awesome to see everyone Saturday and we even had a black Sim costume reunion with Tanya and Ezma. LOL

I wish I could go today, but I am stuck at the lab :( Hopefully I'll graduate before the next Rakkasah so I can stay the whole weekend.

There are thousands of items at rak, and I think I saw every one. My arms and shoulders hurt from carrying treasures through the airport. what a crazy and fun time!!!!!!!!!

Had such a great time at Rakkasah! Hung out with Khalilah, she danced fabulously on Friday night! Afterwards had wine with Khalilah, Tanya and Ezma and Salena and Linahdancer back at the hotel... then had fun dancing Saturday on the Cab stage, and got to catch Nyla Crystal who was awesome, we both danced to Flowers of the Nile. Got to watch Ahava, Jennifer and Monica, Bal Anat, and Leila Haddad was awesome on Friday night. Got to say hi to Mychelle, Namira and her troupe, Nitara, Jim Boz. I'm sure I'm forgetting someone but don't mean to... Didn't get too many photos but here's what I have.

Thanx for your kind words. Balancing the baskets for each other is a LOT harder than simply doing it yourself. In fact, its one of those things that almost NEVER works in practice, but usually manages to work on stage. Go figure.

On top of it, I had had to go get a massage at that "10 minute for $15" booth after my first performance - my neck and shoulders just ACHED from, I think, balancing all the Tribal "hair" that I had had on.
