I am super excited to go to Rak West! I will be there with Ezma and we will be having FUN! I am looking forward to exhausting myself shopping and watching all the lovely performances! Hope to see ya there!..g.:

nope, darwin's not coming. it's probably for the best that John is taking you home - I think tanya and I will be going to sleep when you wake up for the day! I can't wait to meet you in person, and Ana, I would so love to meet you!!!!

No plans YET...but some absolutely MUST be made!! I'll be there all weekend - and performing with Saqra's band on Sat. evening. Looking forward to seeing LOTS of you!!!

I'll be there Saturday and Sunday, probably hanging out with Naiya and John at times. Will be on the Main Stage with troupe El Asaab at 9:00 pm Saturday. Hope to meet some Bhuzzards!

Have you contacted Saqra about your music? I sent an email, but haven't heard back yet (dancing Sunday afternoon). Wondering what style they will be playing .....

We had name tags last year - available at Audrena's booth thanks to Nadia (I believe).

I don't know ..cr.:... Rakkasah is always during school time and I'm a teacher... But I'm sure we'll meet someday!! ,r:;

My hubby says I need a rhinestone rapper necklace in my name. Maybe I'll get one made for future festivals. he he

Ill be there for sure all day Sunday (hanging out, then dancing towards the end of the day with Vince Delgado and his band), and I'll possibly be able to swing by Saturday in the late afternoon to early evening. Would love to meet bhuzzers I don't know yet and see those I do!

I need to put together my shopping list (both things I want/need, and things I don't need...I tend to forget that I already have something similar at home when faced with new pretties!).

P.S. I usually BART over from San Francisco, but am renting a car this year because I have some other gigs that weekend that I need to get around the Bay Area for. If anyone needs a ride from SF Sunday morning or back Sunday evening, hit me up. I like helping fellow carless folk when I can!

Dancing with the troupe I co-founded "Mirage, A Belly Dance Company" on the Cabaret stage Saturday at 1:40. I'm also dancing with "Dancers of the Crescent Moon" and "Damascus" on Sunday Afternoon - forget the exact times at the moment...

My bd partner and I are dancing Sat afternoon (Raks Africa at 1:40.) Then I'll get my BD jones on and watch (and shop a little) for the rest of the day. I'll probably be back on Sunday too. Can't wait to see all of you!

Tanya, from what I hear (and see on the swap meet), I imagine your costume closet is something of a world wonder. I would love to have a photo taken alongside the Great Pyramids, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and Tanya's Costumes! LOL

I would love to take a tour through Tanya's closet. In fact I would pay $$$ to take a tour!
See Tanya - you could buy another costume with the money you make just showing your collection!
I am so excited to be going and if any of you bhuzzers who are currently getting a costume from me and are going to be there please email me. I can do fittings and such in my hotel room.
