Thread: Any Bhuzzers going to Mahmoud Reda in Atlanta this August?

I'm hoping I can swing it, will be deciding for sure in the next few weeks. Anyone else going?

OK I'm scouting ticket and hotel prices this weekend. Of the places he's going to be in the U.S., Atlanta appears to be the quickest and least expensive flight from Cleveland. It would be great to meet up with some of you there!

I really wanted to, but I'll be out of the country! argh!

I am playing the wait til the last minute game to plan a trip to visit my husband's family. If they don't coincide then I am going!

Any locals here who can tell me if it's pretty easy to take the MARTA from the airport all the way up to North Springs? And then I guess a cab or bus to Alpharetta? Looks like it would be easy.

I know it's super-early even to think about it I'm just antsy.

Bump! Just checking in since we're getting close. I won't have a car so I'm hoping to find a ride from the hotel to the workshop location. I'm checking with Amani, too.

I just mapquest-ed it and it's less than 1.5 miles to the studio from my hotel, lol
so I think I can walk if needed...

I'll be there (assuming my son is better, that is...we've had an ER visit, a hospital admission and discharge, and now a stomach virus, all since Friday)! Can't wait. :)

Back from the ATL, had a fabulous weekend! It was nice meeting you Haleema, and a few others who I'm not sure are here on Bhuz or not. Mr. Reda is so amazing, he's so funny and patient and his choreographies are beautiful (now I have 2 full choreographies to remember and work on). I highly recommend studying with Mr. Reda, if he comes anywhere near to your city, go seek him out!!! And make sure to bring shoes or dance pads, my bare feet got rubbed raw from all the arabesques and turns.

It was nice meeting you Sidonia! What a great workshop, I agree that anyone who gets the chance should not miss taking a workshop with Mr. Reda. He is truly a living legend, and such a sweet man.
