I'm there, judging and teaching a workshop!!

Yep. I'm 90% certain that Raks Africa will be there.

I want to compete next year but this year just going to check it out. So far I think 6 dancers are wearing costumes I've made so I am super excited!

I'm going and hoping to wear my soon-to-be-realized Eshta Original :)

I hope so too! But at the very least we can do a last fitting or I can hand deliver it to you.

Got a big old bill in the mail yesterday that I got to pay.

local queen of routenes ely buffin , of ananka is a judge. sold her costume stuff last week....she is excited. do not know if bayla zena will make it this year or not.

SO excited for this year - the show is going to be incredible!! Shaking in my boots over the competition aspect, but looking forward to seeing all the other amazing dancers! Also hoping my cold lets up so that I can actually participate - yuck.

read on the other thread ely buffin is indeed judging..but no bayla zena, so sad for her.

I have a question about lighting of the stage. Anyone knows how strong is the "High" and "Medium" any recommendation?
Our group pieces do not need anything complicated, just simple one light overall

Hmmm...I'm going to look at my video from last year. I do remember the "High" being super bright.

I'll be there! In prep mode now!! Can't wait!!

Yeah I think the "high" lights were really bright and I think most people stayed with medium.

Break a belly! Hope to make it there some year...

I am so glad I didn't try to go! I got slammed by a horrible head cold this weekend and would have been miserable!
