I promise not to eff up my registration this year. Anyway, who else is going to Grapevine this summer?

I'll be there! (of course, I'm a member of Isis' company...)
I can't afford to take all of the workshops, so I'm really debating on Friday vs. Saturday. I luuuurv Sahra Saeeda's style, but I bet Jillina gives a kick-butt class... Last year I took SuSu's Rhythm for dancers on Sunday, and it was very helpful!

Ha, I thought I recognised you! My friends are coming up for the Thursday class. I'll be riding with them, but nottaking the class. I hear what you're saying. It depends on what you like. Sahra did a fun folkloric class last time. Jillina's will be very Egyptian-pop, I bet. I think I'll skip out on a session or two to save my energy... Karavan has another insanely ambitious troupe number planned, and I'm plotting a high-energy Bollywood fusion number myself.

I will be there also.

jillina is highly recommended by me. one of the best instructors i've ever taken from!!! her workshops are very well thought-out, organized, and she often sells the music that goes with it. i have only taken her choreography workshops, she starts with a good warm-up, goes over technique, then puts it all together. even if you don't like choreography, there is a LOT to take from her workshops.

I would imagine that Jillina would give such a thorough class, I want to take at least one of hers... Maybe I'll ask Isis if she knows what the other teachers are planning to do. If I get the scoop, I'll let y'all know!

Jillina's classes are fun and fast-moving! I don't think I ever catch the entire thing but theres always useful phrases to learn.

Perizaad, I just sent in my registration, yay! The last two times I danced I was on a Friday, so I'm guessing that if I make the cut that's where I'll be. The Karavan number is going to be off the hook! Think debke...

Suh-weet! I'm not sure what we're doing for our group choreography yet...
