Thread: Azizas Birthday Bash

Whos coming? I´m really getting excited about this event! As you may know, my teacher, friend and mentor Lena Helt has been invited to teach at the Birthday Bash, and I´m going with her.

I hope I will meet som bhuzzers there!

Loribelly, yes I know Khalida is teaching too

I´ll tell you, all the stuff Lena is going to teach is awesome, I´ve done all of the choreos in class with her and they are kick ass. I especially love the shaabi one.

There's a very good chance I'll be there, too. Bhuz party!!! ..g.:

This past weekend at Black Orchid in Atlanta there were so many Bhuzzers there but no name tags. Hopefully Andrea (Stellar Advantage) will do name tags but maybe we will all have to wear scarab tee shirts of something!
Maybe commandeer a Bhuz table or two for the dinner show!

Looking forward to taking some of Lena's classes as well! I'll meet up with her in Poland this weekend :)

I know! I wish I could have gone too, but we are going to Finland to perform at the Mr Reda workshops the weekend after, I can´t do both unfortunatly.

Hey there again!!

Just got back from Poland, I took a short private class with Lena there and OMG people!!! If you ever get the chance, then run, drive, swim, and FLY to get classes from her!!

She is truly an amazing generous teacher and choreographer with oodles of knowledge and authenticity.. She really kicked my butt (in a good way) with her Saidi and Ghawazee combinations and technique and she has an outstanding eye!

Told ya! Know you know how lucky I am to have been dancing with her the last 9 years! Her eye for what you need to work on is unbelievable and she works on all aspects of dance, technical, emotional and mental. And trust me, the choreos are great!

I am so excited about going!!! Unfortunately will only be able to do Friday and Saturday classes but that should still be awesome! And its AZIZAS BIRTHDAY!
