dangit, Sabrina, I want to see you dance but I have 4 workshops next weekend in LA. how was your MECDA party? when's the next SD event? we need to synch our LA and SD events better! ;)

No workshops for me this year. :( I usually do both days but can't this time.

But I'll look for your performance Sabrina! Glad to know other BUZZers will be there!

I'll be there alllllll weekend. Pictures and workshop on Saturday and dancing on Sunday with John Bilezikjian -- insha'allah.

hi, the party was fun. we had so many great performers. sorry you couldn't make it. we are thinking of doing another one in the spring.

yes, we do need to synch la and sd events better. maybe we need a master calendar for so. cal events? then we could all work together instead of competing for attendance.

I'll be there on Sun. Dancing at 12:35 with a troupe and then solo at 1:25. I'll be taking the sword workshop also. ..g.: I never heard about the MECDA party until the night before when Ana told me. Couldn't make it ..cr.:

Jim Boz, DaVid and Lucia have been adding their own events to the Calendar at LARaqs.com (Events page). Add stuff as you see fit, or start another one if you wish (it's free!). ..g.:

nasila - my website is in shambles right now and i don't have any video up at all. [i can't rebuild it 'til spring after my day job project is complete]
i will be @ byblos doing the beirut nights thing this wed, oct 3. i know mid-week is hard and byblos is $$$.

Yes, I'm also a vendor, but I don't vend there. I'm cutting down on my vending, because it's taking up too much of my free time.

Thanks PoohBear! I can certainly use all the good vibes I can get. I took most of '07 off re: dancing and haven't preformed since Jan. I'm a little nervous about Sat. but I need to get back into it. As long as I don't fall flat on face, I'll be happy! ..g.: And I always look forward to this event.

Do any of you know Cyriana? She's from the IE.

I know a Cyriana (her real name is Kathy). She also usually comes to dance at BB.

Yes, I know Kathy. We were very good friends a while back, but had a falling out. It would mean a lot to me if you got a chance to tell her that I'm sorry for everything and that I miss her terribly!
I just don't think that I can contact her directly, so on the off chance....I thought I'd ask :)

we missed you and understand you are very busy. there is some talk of doing another one in the spring. if so, we will let everyone know.

what are your b.b. show times?

I am actually travelling down with a friend and supposedly I am performing on Saturday around 5:30 or so.... I think I"m going to test run a new assuit Pharoanics costume... yummay!

We also have a table with some items for sale, including some of Davina's costuming books, gently used costumes and other goodies. Please find me and say hi. :)
