Okay, Dancers! It's time to gear up for the 2010 BDNC! Due to popular demand, the BDNC has expanded to a two-day event and we are super excited! To set us apart from last year, we will be offering more comprehensive workshop packages, fabulous guest artists, judges, and vendors!

Our Categories:
National Champion: Allow us to salute you! Come and win the hearts of the people and the votes of the judges and become the new BDNC National Champion. If you are a soloist in traditional bellydance (e.g. Egyptian or Lebanese raqs sharqi, Turkish oryantal tanzi, or American Orientale) this is the category for you!

National Troupe: A category after our own hearts! We want to celebrate the Sisterhood of the Traveling Troupes - the intimacy only achieved when you know others in dance, the special thing that only a troupe can offer! Win the votes of the judges with your troupe's own signature style.

Masters: This is the category that honors the dancer age 49 and over! You have maturity and confidence that inspires other dancers to want to dance just like you! Emerge with the title of Masters Champion from a tremendously talented and remarkable group of dancers.

Alternative/ Fusion Soloist: Do you love to merge bellydance with the non-traditional? This category invites dancers to celebrate music through various dance styles and exhibitions. This category allows for the innovative, rich theatricality, and independent creativity!

Alternative/Fusion Troupe: Does your group love to merge bellydance with the non-traditional? This category invites groups of dancers to celebrate music through various dance styles and exhibitions. This category allows for the innovative, rich theatricality, and independent creativity!

Proptastic: Making friends and influencing people - one prop at a time!

Are you "Shimmilicious"? Do you have what it takes to take the crown?

I just wanted to let you guys know that our reserved hotel block sold out completely! Thank you so much for the overwhelming response!

We did manage to add more rooms. If you can't get to the "BDNC room rate" from the link on the BDNC website, please contact the hotel directly and ask for Lisa Bills, our coordinator. She will be able to help you out.
