Join us for this 2nd annual, incredible weekend of bellydancing and fun with some of the most talented dancers and teachers in the Midwest! Come ready to learn with the best!
Set in the beautiful Irish Hills of Michigan at Indian Creek Campground, Shimmy is both intensive study and relaxation all wrapped into one fabulous weekend.
Our group of fantastic instructors include: Christina & Audrey of Blue Lotus Tribe, KayLouise of Mesmeric, Sonja of Knoxville, Lana Mini of Detroit, Donna Diva of Chicago, and Nadira of Ann Arbor.
Workshop cost includes 14 hours of incredible instruction, a rustic camp site (other options are available), meals, and a goody bag filled with fun stuff including a t-shirt, and a special binder of notes from each of the instructors so you can take your learning home with you! Gilded Lotus will be on hand Friday and Saturday evenings for your Henna experience. This is included in the workshop package!

Two Performances in one weekend! All workshop participants may sign up to dance in the Friday night Hafla. This year’s theme will be “Anything Goes” and we mean it. Bring on your best fusion and creativity to help us open our weekend. Be prepared to continue the fun with a campfire dance following the Hafla. On Saturday night, prepare to be astounded and inspired as professionals from around the Midwest come together and present Saturday night’s show. Shows are open to the public, get tickets early to reserve your seat.
