We invite you to shop, eat, drink, and dance in an all-belly-dance party. Enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages with belly dance students and their families, friends, and fans, and join in the social dancing to recorded music.

Buy, sell, or swap in our Belly Dance Swap Meet. Gather those items you no longer use and contact us to reserve space to sell them at the Social. Or look for bargains among the gently-used belly dance items on display.

The Helping Hips is a charitable organization dedicated to spreading smiles and shimmies. The group works to serve the community through an Elder Outreach Program spreading joy through performances at local senior centers and nursing homes, the Ancient News newsletter, cards and bellygrams to celebrate or commiserate with community members, and fundraising efforts such as an annual charity gala and mini-drives.

The Helping Hips invites all belly dance enthusiasts to join them in their mission of spreading smiles and shimmies. Contact us for information about how you can help.

There is space available if anyone is interested in the swap meet portion of it. I'll be there as I am the digital archivist/designer for The Helping Hips. Only $10 for a space! Come on down and meet fellow belly dancers!
