Thread: Ozma: Las Vegas, San Fran, Seattle 2010

OOoooooh, less than a month away until I visit the home land!

I will be in Vegas for the Belly Dance Intensive (and other sundry activities) September 8-13...then will be making my way somehow to San Francisco to visit old friends from various walks of life, including Bhuzzers, and then mid week, it is up to Seattle to see some of my bestest buddies and Bhuzers! until I fly out on the 19th.

So who is around, what workshops should I also be looking into, and who wants a coffee or a gin and tonic with me? (or, fabric stores and thrift shops...).

I am very excited to see you, Sabrina..and I will come with Yukata! After I have an air conditioner I will have the power to go out and shop!

LOL...so glad you brought this up. I keep thinking I need to try to arrange a group outing there. Hahahaha.

I'll be super busy during the event (for obvious reasons), but please please please track me down and say hello. I don't want to miss out on meeting you. Also, I will have "Bhuz" buttons for everyone to wear so we can find each other.

And if anyone wants to pick a bar for a late night drink after one of the shows, I'll do my best to make an appearance.

I will be your roommate in Las Vegas :) and then I will be in SF at Jamila Level 1 workshop to be teacher assistant...and there are weekday classes at Suhaila studio that I join when I am there....there are some museums or galleries we can visit in SF if you like.

I may be crazy busy in San Fran but....Suhaila studio sounds teeeempting!

Ok. ATTENTION DANCERS!
September 15, Ozma and Crystalized feel the need to gather and have some food and drink (and perhaps say the sorts of things one wouldn't say on Bhuz...). Ozma is staying with an old friend near multiple forms of transit and has much in the way of drunk-train-subway skills...so she may get tipsy.

This is the sort of activity that could probably well be folded ON TOP OF some thriftstore shopping in the late afternoon/early evening of the 15th...

WHile in America I can be reached at 206-601-7798. It is a loaner phone so the outgoing message will be a guy's voice, probably for the grotto group. My lunches are thusfar free (14th 15th..16th I head to seattle) and I would be keenly interested in a multi-dancer 15th evening drinking thing.

I wish I could meet up with you... heading out of town (Portland) on the 17th and won't be back until the 20th... have fun in Seattle :)

Loved meeting you in Las Vegas, Ozma. Wasn't that wrap-up party fun? I know you were moved to tears!

Right now I am sort of torn. I'm debating a drink with you after 8, or catching the train and doing dinner with Miachael Baxter and wife, as we haven't seen eachot0her for 3+ years and have a lot of travel and life to catch up on. I may have to beg out...sorry.
