Thread: Lena Helt and Aziza in Orlando - pics pics pics!!

Just got back from an AMAZING weekend in Orlando.Omg! A bit jetlagged but still in the clouds, so must post a small post right away. It was so much fun to finally meet more Bhuzzies live *waves at Zana, Leela, Lori and Mahsati* meet up again with Bhuzzies I already met *waves at all of those* :) and I just absolutel loved every single minute of the workshops and the shows.

Lena's oriental workshop on Friday was FAST but beautiful and musical, with a cute melaya intermezzo in between. Loved loved loved the shaabi classes on Saturday, I feel I've learned so much and the choreos were a hoot. The baladi on Sunday was super sweet. But even more I enjoyed being able to hang out with her for a whole weekend, she has such a great personality and tons of knowledge. She ended the show on Saturday with a bang!! Didn't want it to stop.

And Aziza.. sigh She will always be my dance hero! Her performance on Saturday in her white costume made me cry. The one on Friday as well..

I think Lena and Aziza really brought their best to the event, and the shows were just unbelievable.. I'm sad I didn't get to see all performances, but the ones I did see were top of the bill. Loved Karolina's trumpet act on Friday, and her and Mahsatis fan veil were awesome. Lori's solo was beautiful and elegant, Mia and her brother were great, and troupe Sheherazade really rocked the show. I'm a bit tired and forgetting tons of great stuff here, so other Bhuzzies please feel free to add!

Agreed. Wonderful weekend. Aziza's white naked dress was incredible and I think that was the best I have ever seen her. And LENA. Wow!!!! And I loved your performances and that cute mirror costume! The whole weekend was perfection.

+1 at ya! I also loved every minute of it! Sooo much fun! And soo much wonderful people. I absolutely have several new girl crusches;).

It just is such a bummer to say goodbye to everybody. To say farewell to Aziza was just heartbreaking.

I really do hope to meet you all soon again! Thank you for all the wonderful feedback we got for our performances and thank you for opening your hearts to Lena. She is amazing and I am so happy to be able to share her :D
