Najwa Karam, Wael Kroury, and Fadel Chaker are coming Saturday October 27, 2007 to the Grand Ballroom at Hyatt Regency- O'Hare.

I want to go but the tickets are between $85- $200
Who's going? Maybe I can be persuaded.

Well, that sucks: both the price range & the date...so much going on with "Halloween"-themed haflas this weekend. Plus, that price range seems extreme to me(?)!

it's a dinner and a show at the grand ballroom. i think it's a who's who of the Arab community thing. i really want to go. I met this Saudi girl at my Arabic meetup and she and her friends are going. she invited me and i thought it would be a great opportunity. I don't have any Arab girlfriends except on line and i just think it's high time since i'm so involved with Arab culture. plus I feel like girls are more honest. guys are easy to meet and they'll tell you anything. i'm really thinking about going. I spent $70 to see Beyonce so I guess it's not that bad.
I backed out of a hafla becasue I wanted to go to this. but now i'm not sure i'll go cuz it's $91 with the processing fee.

I noticed on the city box office site that the $85 tickets are just admission--you have to buy tickets in the $150 and up range to get dinner!

yeah i saw that. i don't want dinner it's probalby not something i eat anyway. but just think how much it costs to bring them here. i'm thinking the profit margin isn't that big.

I wished I would have known about this a month ago.
