Thread: Looking to meet other dancers or an instructor while visiting The Netherlands in January

He everyone, I have a tripped planned, staying in The Haque and would love to meet up with other belly dancers or a teacher in the surrounding area.

I work in The Hague,though unfortunately my contract ends in january. There is a shimmyshake cross-over belly dance contest on the 9th of January and a workshop Khaligy on the 22th of January. There are also several restaurants with belly dance performances, one luxurious looking one in Scheveningen (close to The Hague) and one in the center.

I'm in for meeting up, let me know when you'll be here and what you'd like to do :)

As said, I would love to meet so we can do the tour and have a tea, perhaps Kyria can join us? Hopefully I'll have a nice performance during that period for you to watch

And I know you're not really interested in BD stuff, but just to make sure:

There will also be an event in The Hague on the 20th: Tjarda's latest project "InFusion Rendezvous" to promote Tribal Fusion Bellydance and it's community in The Netherlands. A place for teachers, students and other interested people to connect, share and dance! With all Tribal Fusion teachers and teachers from other dance forms to get a real taste of fusion..

BTW, I can't really recommend the restaurant in Scheveningen, as unfortunately the service, food and dancers aren't that good

I completely forgot I started this thread, so much has gone on this holiday season. I would be alot of fun to see you during my stay. I am completely free during the day, plan to see sites in The Hague and then take the train over to Amsterdam. The workshop on the 22nd sounds like fun, but once the weekend hits, I think my sister-in-law is out of class and I would want to hang with her. She is completely sponsoring this trip for me... she's the best!!
