Thread: Vegas in January!!!Dates Changed!

I am sooo excited.I was supposed to go to the Las Vegas Intensive But couldnt...BUT I am going to Vegas Jan 17 to Jan 23 :) I am going with 2 of my Bellysisters and was wondering where the Dancing is at And where we should check out!!!

I was just going to post a similar thread when I saw this so, I'm bumping it up in hopes of us finding something out. I'll actually be visiting Vegas at the exact same time with my husband celebrating his birthday so, perhaps I will see you there.

Well, you have to visit the Marrakech Restaurant and see Aradia dance. Make sure she is working the night you go. You can always call them and find out. It is the best place to see bellydancers. You could also get a private with her if you can get away from your husband for a bit :)

They have bellydancers every day but I am not sure which are Aradia's days right now (I used to work there :))

There are other places in town but I have been away for a while so I am not sure which of those other places are offering an interesting show.
Also there might be a hafla while you girls are in town. Samira should be able to tell you when the January hafla is happening. You could even perform! Those are super fun.

There is a hafla. It's on January 15th. It's $5 + a plate of food at the door. Performers get in for free. The location is most likely the Arthur Murray studio, which is only 2 miles off the strip, so it's close. The location may change, but I'll post an update. I usually post everything on the "local events page" of the Intensive website. I don't have the January hafla posted yet, but will do so soon.

Yeah, I am not aware of anything outside of the normal restaurant venues during those dates.
