Who is performing this Fri. in Chicago?
A doctor asked me where in downtown Chicago he and a small party of guests could go this Friday night (11/23/07) to see belly dancing. Apparently they were set to go to Ahlambra Palace but just found out that there will not be a belly dance show this Friday. I called Ala Turka but the person I spoke with had no idea who would be performing Friday. He mentioned that Alexandria would be dancing Sat. night.
He's looking for a very nice place with excellent dancing...money is apparently no object (must be nice!). ,r:;

Oh sorry I didn't see this sooner-----there's a Rose performing at Athaar tonite! Hope you found somewhere fun to go!

Ooops, I missed this too, but I believe Barba Yianni on Lincoln Ave has dancing on Fridays.

Yes, Juliana's has a dancer on Friday's---they usually don't start until
about 10pm and they party into the wee hours---very different atmosphere and type of place than Athaar, so it all depends on what they want.
