Thread: Las Vegas on a payment plan...

Hello fellow bhuzzers!! I just wanted to give you a heads up that the deadline for the Super Early-Bird Registration ($275 via 10 payments of $27.50) is fast approaching. On Dec. 1st, the new price is 9 payments of $30.56. After our schedule is finalized, the weekend rate will increase to
$295. So for the lowest rate of the year, register today!!

This year the event will be held at PALACE STATION HOTEL & CASINO!! And we are very excited about the free shuttle service to/from the airport as well as to/from the "Strip". There are lots of perks that go along with the venue and your room being in the same building!! Not to mention all the fabulous restaurants, jacuzzi pools, and hair salon!! It's definitely Vegas, baby!!

And, of course, we are delighted to have KARIM NAGI, AVA FLEMING, and KAMI LIDDLE as our featured headliners. We will also have about 25-30 other instructors, but those details are currently being finalized. (we do have a couple of spots open for teachers who might be coming to the event. PM me if you are interested).

Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive

Can't wait!!!

I've been thinking of going to this event. What a great incentive! I was also thinking I might try to schedule some private lessons with a local teacher or two...if they're available.

Woo hoo! I can't bloody wait!!! This is going to be so much fun.

So many great teachers!! (visiting AND our local ladies!!!! woo hoo)

I am sure that there are a number of local teachers who would be happy to give you some private lessons. Tanya, Amira, Aradia...we have so many fabulous local teachers.

hmmm..I am serisouly considering this. This can be the ultimate vacation for my husband and I. I believe that the secret to a successful marraige is seperate vacations. This is definitly the answer to our wilderst dreams!

I'm so excited you are coming!!! We have a few folks coming from Canada already. I'm so happy about that!! We also have someone coming all the way from Venezuela!!

I love it!! I have another couple that is coming as well. We also have a local dancer who has a tour company. She and I are working on packages before/after the event as well as opportunities for significant others. She can help with discounted show tickets, golf, Grand Canyon tours, helicopter "Strip" tours, etc.

For example, we are working on an "early arrival package" for Thursday night that includes transportation to/from the hotel to the Stratosphere for the American Superstars show, dinner at the buffet, and a trip to the top of the tower.

I'm hoping to have our new shopping cart online in January, so keep your eyes open. We'll post the special packages there.

I hope you both decide to come. If he has any special interests, let me know and I'll ask Leyla what she can do

More good news...

Sharid Saná from Mexico is joining our list of featured instructors. This lovely dancer blew the socks off everyone at our after-party last year!! So we invited her back!! We are very excited to have her join us.

I'm so torn...part of me wants to go...part of me says "you don't know anybody there". I'm such a homebody...I'm still thinking about it!

Seriously, our community is very friendly. If you feel like it, join our local yahoogroup and get to know a few folks that way. LVBellydancers Yahoo Group. -OR- join our tribe Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive Tribe

That way you won't feel so awkward when you get to Vegas. You'll have some folks to meet. Additionally, if you want me to help you find a roommate to share a room, I'd be happy to do so. That can be a nice way to get to know someone too.

That would be a lot of fun!! Truly, let me know if I can help find your group show tickets or whatever. We'll do our best to help the "significant others" find something to do. (although the tables will probably keep everyone fairly occupied. )
