Thread: New York City, September 23/24/25

Anybody going to one of the many events in NYC the weekend of September 23-25?

I will be at Aszmara's Intensive, and am planning to be at Nourhan's event Lafayette Grill Friday 9/23, at one of the two performances by the Dalia Carella Dance Collective on Saturday 9/24 (I did not buy the ticket myself and do not know which show my friend picked), and at Lafayette with Scott Wilson and Aszmara on Sunday 9/25. I am wondering - are there any other Bhuzzers going to be at these events? It would be great fun to meet face-to-face :-)

I'll be at the Aradia workshops that weekend! Duh, I'm hosting them, i better be there!

Ah, bummer! I always enjoy meeting other dancers. And to be honest, I am a bit intimidated going Friday night all by myself, I'd be happy if a Bhuzzer could foster me ;-) I am house trained and have good table manners ;-)

But, the good news is - just learned that I will be part of the lineup of students from Aszmara's Intensive at Lafayette Grill on September 25! <squee>

I'll be in NY teaching my Egyptian Golden Era workshop on Fri evening, and drum solo and Lebanese on Sunday, but I have Saturday off, woohoo!! Anything going on, or suggestions for my night out?

I may be able to make the Saturday early performance, I was thinking about going to a broadway play during the day, so it would make for great entertainment for me!

Then you could head out to to see some bellydance at one of the nearby lounges in the late evening...a full day! :)
