    Talking Hello from Maine!

    Hi, I am Iliana and I am 29. I was born and raised in Mexico, but moved to the US 5 years ago. It's always been my dream to learn how to belly dance, but my family was unsupportive. ,f:: After getting married and started a family, it never occurred to me to try bellydance until I watched Fit Tv's "Shimmy". I was so delighted, that my husband supported me in my dream of becoming a bellydancer. I've been practicing for the last 3 months and I couldn't be happier. I may never, ever be a professional, but I dance for the joy it brings me, not for the accolades. Who knows...maybe someday you'll hear from me!
