Thread: Hi from Texas!

Hiya -
I'm Breayn and I currently live in Houston, TX. I started taking lessons two years ago in Atlanta and moved to TX a few months later. I've mostly done Egyptian and Turkish Oriental and a little bit of Turkish Rrom (with Artemis ). I joined Bhuz over the summer but was so busy that I looked around once or twice and didn't get on again until today.

I'm excited to connect with dancers and especially to learn more about this wonderful dance form. I'm really trying to strengthen my knowledge of the dance, learn about "the legends" - past and present, about important pieces of music and different rhythms, drumming, etc. Basically, I want to learn as much as I can and this looks like a great site for info and discussions :-)

I was taking classes with Zahirah Noor until I was injured and I plan on going right back after I heal :)
