Thread: Hi from Ree in oz

Hello everyone

I've been a member of Bhuz for a while but haven't been a contributor. I've a few fellow dancer friends on here so with my new years resolution to be more social, I thought I'd start taking a part in the community.

I'm based in Perth, Western Australia, I've been dancing for a fair while, around the 15 years mark, I think. I love traditional styles but am most suited to the Turkish Gypsy, probably because I'm a bit cheeky ..g.: I currently only teach an introductory class for a dance school, but take it easy due to a back injury I sustained a few years ago. (Coming back to dancing is actually my therapy)

I'm also a dressmaker and of course I love to make costumes, especially MASSIVE Gypsy skirts. I've yet to meet someone who has out-done me on that but would love to as it will always gets my fires burning!

Anyhoo, can't wait to meet you all on here, I think this a wonderful site that promotes a greater level of knowledge and recognition for our artform.
