Thread: Hello from under the sea!

Hello everyone! I am LittleOrca, the mermaid from Oregon, here from the LHC as recommended by some friends over there.

I danced nine years ago for about a year with a local woman as my teacher known as Sultana. I loved to dance and performed once before I had to stop and focus on college since I was going to one out of town. I tried to keep it up on my own but alas I had no time.

Now, I am back into the shimmy of it! I use DVDs of different styles to practice to when I am not in class. Ironically, I am in graduate school now which is harder than undergrad, but I strangely have more time to dance and I am thankful! My current instructor is Ether and I ADORE her. :)

I hope to learn a lot from this community and continue to dance for as long as I can!:cr:
