    hi
    iam new to belly dance and i will start my lessons soon
    do u have suggestion for customes for me iam male but i like feminine customes
    any suggestions?

    You will not need a costume to take class. A pair of comfortable workout pants (like yoga pants), a tee shirt, and something tied arouind your hips will be all you need. Your instructor may ask that your hip scarf be "silent", meaning no coins. Or your teacher may also want you to wear dance shoes like ballet slippers or jazz shoes.

    Until you are ready to perform, if that is your goal, you will not need a costume.
