Thread: Hello From Oklahoma!!

Hello lovely bellydancers! My name is Elena, my company (performance and teaching) Callidora. I am new to BHUZ but not to bellydance, having started teaching myself 8 years ago. I have studied many different styles, but tend to stick with American Cabaret/ Egyptian with some Tribal Fusion thrown in! I love all forms of dance, trained in classical ballet for 15 years, and have studied hip hop, musical theatre dance, as well as all types of middle eastern dance, bollywood, fusion styles and props, but I think I could live for a hundred years and still be learning things about this fascinating art form. I love teaching, my students give me the greatest inspiration and hope, and it is my goal to help them all realise what beautiful, wonderful women they all are. In addition to dancing my tuchus off, I am training to be a theatre actress, and I love books, reading, art, theatre, films, cooking, knitting, gardening (or playing in the dirt as I call it) and learning new things. Feel free to say hi, I love meeting other dancers, there aren't too many in this area!!
