Hello, I'm new (in Montreal, but not from Montreal!)
Hi everyone!
I'm so happy to have found this place! I came from a really small Canadian town which had essentially no interesting recreation, and then I moved to Montreal and suffered a bit of culture shock!..l;,
I've been doing bd for almost a year and am really interested in becoming more serious about this despite being on a budget (I'm a student... I eat beans everyday).
Anyway, it's nice to meet you all!

I train with Marilee Nugent; she's wonderfully patient with clumsy new girls such as myself. I've never taken classes/workshops from anyone else although I hear good things about Marmar.

Lucky girl to be in Montreal, what a fabulous city! You know that Hadia is offering some workshops this summer in Montreal, if you can squeeze it into your budget, I highly recommend you do. She is fab and when you are starting out it's even better as she teaches you to dance safely. Hadia's New Site.
BTW I'm from a small town too that never has and probably never would have bellydance classes, and so is Hadia.
