Hi everyone! I'm Katie, I've only been in Dallas for several months now, I moved from Austin, and I haven't found classes here yet. I'm really excited to have found this site, however!

Hey there! I actually took a class at a small dance studio in Georgetown when I was living in Austin.

I'm looking for a good teacher here in Dallas now. I don't even know where to begin, this city is so much bigger than Austin.

I know several teachers in the Dallas area. What part of town do you live in?

Hi - I teach in Frisco Tx at Yogaonmainst.com.
Classes are on Thursday nights. Foundation is from 7:15 to 8:15 & Inter/Adv is from 8:15 to 10pm -

Does anyone know of a beginner doumbek class that I could drop into for a month while I'm in Dallas? I don't own a doumbek, but my boyfriend (who lives in Dallas) does, so I'd like to take advantage of that while I'm here. I know that Isis studio has drum classes, but they apparently have a 6-month curriculum that isn't conducive to dropping in.

I'm not working this month, so I can be flexible about time and place, but I also would prefer not to shell out for private classes if I don't have to.

Katie, I've noticed that Little Egypt has some pretty impressive events going on--I'll probably be flying back from El Paso to Dallas partly to attend the Saturday show for Ahlan Cairo Nights in July. I am SOOO excited about getting to see Nour of Cairo live!!!

If you're looking for ITS, Brandy of Tribal Evolution teaches at Hurst Recreation Center. New session starts next week.

Brandi from Tribal Evolution is also doing something over at Little Egypt's on Tuesdays

For the Drum classes - I would contact either the folks from Dumsmack or Sean from wind & fingers about drop in drum classes
