Thread: Hello from the Glorious Valley of the Sun: Thats Phoenix, Az

I just realized I have been a lurking member on this site for almost 3 years and I have never introduced myself. I am a transplanted East Coaster, living on the West Coast for 20 years now, but I still consider my self an East Coaster. I am a relatively new student to our beautiful art form, been studying off and on for about 3 years now. Not very consistent due to some major and minor issues. One being I am in nursing school and I am going to put my class taking on hold for about 10 months. I am lucky enough to have a dance space in my house that I can use for practice, so I will actually have to utilize that space...l;,

As stated in my title I live in Arizona, I am a student of the Great Helena Vlahos, she would kill me for calling her that but she IS. Love her to pieces! So happy that this space exist, I'm sure that most of you who are bellydance addicts would agree no one understands our obssession except another addict.
