I've decided that My girlfriends Christmas present is going to be a new Bella...
Only problem is i don't have all her sizes (and don't want to make it too obvious what I'm doing...
Just in case any body is wondering.... She's 67" and a red head (if you happen to have any color /design advice

Look at what size her bra and pants are and talk to her friends. They will know better than us and they know you personally so they probably won't have the same issue some of us will have with talking costume size issues with an unknown man on Bhuz who may or may not have untoward reasons for asking.

You could try measuring one of her current costumes - perhaps one of her dance friends could help you?

As far as colours go, as a redhead myself, I find that green, deep purple, blue work well.

Measure inside the cups, diagonally, vertically and horizontally in each cup with the tape pressed in. Measure the length of the bra band (all the way around the bra) and note where the hooks are placed. Measure the length of the skirt and measure the top hip measurement and the lower hip (fullest part of the bum). These last might be difficult to get if the costume is stretchy. If you know what size dress or pants she wears, that will be helpful. Also how tall she is and her bra size (usually there is a label inside the bra band that tells the inches and cup size, i.e. 34A, 36B or whatever).

Does she have a seamstress who might have her measurements on file? Or you could say you are getting her something "lesser" and then surprise her with the Bella, but get her cooperation in obtaining the necessary measurements.

This is how I measure cups. It's not how everyone does it, I've found, but it seems pretty common, and it's a place to start, anyway. When I ordered a Bella, one of the things she asks for is bra size (American), and that's an easy thing to check.

Thank you ALL for your help! I'll keep this updated to the progress.
Do any of you know what the normal wait time is for a Bella (i figure it's custom, so it will take a while... that's why I'm starting now).
