Yo! from California
Hi everybody! My name is Lizzie and I am a twenty year old college student in California; I am totally new to the world of belly dance (or any dance at all, really!) For a while now I've been interested in belly dancing, but I've hesitated because I didn't know where to start. I'ved decided that the best solution is to find a bunch of people who know more than me and ask them lots of questions until they get sick of me.
Good plan?

Welcome, Lizzie. I think that sounds like a great plan!
Be sure to check out LA Raqs - Los Angeles Belly Dance for Los Angeles based events, and I'd recommend contacting Aziza Sa'id to get on her newsletter for more IE happenings.
