Thread: My (brief) introduction....

Good Day.My name is Charles Ritchie.I recently signed up to this website;and the introductary email I received from Rosy (apologies if I accidentally mis-spelt her name) requested that I introduce myself here.... While I have been aware of this website for some years now (I first became aware of it circa 2000) I have not visited here for some years now;until recently.It was in circa 2007 that I joined a Toronto (OF COURSE,that is the largest city in Canada;and I have lived here for all of my [soon-to-be-47- years-of] life) based RAQS SHARQI group at the meetup.com website....and I found out recently that this website now has a formal association with it. I will now conclude by stating that I have (since circa 1998) seen the following people perform various types of Middle Eastern dance;here in the Greter Toronto Area:1)Roula Said,2)Yasmina Ramzy (and some others from the Arabesque Dance Company),3)Mayada,4)Chemagne Dance (and some of her students),4)various folks from the Habeeka (apologies for-currrently-not rembering the full name) company,5)folks from the (now-defunct) I-Dream-of-Bellydance studio,6)folks from the Hannan Dance studio, and 7)Teressa (and colleagues).I presume that a number of folks who read these forums recognise most (if not all) of these people/troupes.
