Hello from the Mid-Hudson River Valley
Hi there,
I'm Ilanah. A few friends of mine and fellow dancers recommended that I check bhuz out, so I poked around on the forum and am happy to be a new member. I just moved to this area in New York from Missouri.
I've been belly dancing for about four years, learning through friends, videos, and various teachers of the Suhaila format. I love the more traditional styles as well as playing with blurring the lines between belly dance and other dance forms like jazz, ballet, hip hop, salsa, contemporary, bollywood, and so on.
I'm excited to be here and to learn and share with everyone!

Hello and welcome. I'm over here in CT. Are you within driving distance to the city? There's a ton of events/teachers down there.
