    Hi,

    My name is Cindy and I started taking lessons from Nadia in Suffolk, VA last March. I'm 57 years old and had my 1st public performance in January with the rest of my dance classmates. While funds currently keep me from the classroom at the present moment, I look forward to learning more and more and possibly getting brave enough and proficient enough to perform at haflas, and any other public event.

    I crochet and quilt and recently (since May) have brought my crocheting skills to the area of making costumes for dancers. I don't see my costumes being used by professionals (well, maybe some day!) but for us beginners who would like a nice costume but can't afford a professional costume.

    Thank you again for allowing me to be a part!

    Jaddah (means Grandmother and I figure with 8 (just welcome the newest one yesterday!) grandchildren, it fit me!

    Thank ye Sahirah! And I like yours as well - Jaddah means Grandmother in Arabic and that's me! Swap meet?? Hmmmmmm.... I don't mind doing a little haggling or swapping - funds are non-existent for me so I guess I'm safe!
