Thread: Kindly requesting a place to stay in Barcelona for the: " Barcelona Oriental Festival" :) (Saida is coming there you guys !!:O!)

Hi fellow bellydancers!

I'm new to Bhuz, so I don't know if posts like mine are shameless or acceptable :P

I'm looking for a place to stay in Barcelona for this festival in November:
Barcelona Oriental Festival

My heroine Saida is coming!!!!!!!!!!
And I didn't know until a week ago. I didn't save up anything, but I really need to be there.
Are there any people on this forum going too?? :D

Through this post I hope to find a kind lady/gent to provide a roof over my head while there.
That would be fun, supercool, amazing, and I would be incredibly grateful!!!
Naturally in return this lady/gent can come and crash my place in the centre of Amsterdam (baby!) anytime :)

This kind of post is perfectly acceptable. But since you're brand new here and no one feels like they 'know' you yet, you might not get a lot of response.

Also, I'm not sure we have any really active members from Barcelona... I'm trying to remember anyone at all posting from Barcelona. I was there a year or two ago, though, and rented an apartment I really liked. If you'd like me to find the rental info for you I can look it up!

I'm not from Barcelona, but when I was there, I looked in this page Barcelona cheap hotels, hostels, apartments and b&bs, Barcelona30

I finally went to the "Turismo Urbano BCN" hostel, and I was very happy with it. It was cheap and nicely ubicated near many tube stations. You can even go to the Institut del Teatre walking 20 minutes.

My first choice was the "equitiy point Centric" hostel, that was even cheaper, but I didn't stayed there

Man! I didn't know about this festival! I moved to Spain recently (not Barcelona, though, or you'd have been welcome at my home!) and have had a bit of a hard time finding the dance community here. Maybe I'll try a Bhuz post on that soon... after my weird travelling schedule is over.

I hope you went and had a blast!

I didn't go :( So sad about it. Hope to catch Saida somewhere some other time.
I saw this festival by chance! I was google-ing for good pictures of costumes :S
There are a couple of festivals in Barcelona, so I know. But this one looked big.
