Thread: Hello from central Maryland!

Hello all!

I've been lurking on and off on Bhuz for a while, but never really got up the courage to post anything before. I am a student of belly dance (and hope to be one for the rest of my life!) in the central MD area and am fortunate to have a ton of fabulous teachers and workshops as well as fellow dancers to learn from.

My background is in music, but I was always a musician rather than a dancer - belly dance has been my first experience in dance whatsoever.

I am looking forward to interacting with everyone going forward and learning more about ME culture, ME dance, ME music, and everything else - learning is a passion of mine.

Welcome! I'm from Southern Maryland (not so affectionately known as SoMD) and I gotta say, be thankful you're in a central spot surrounded by teachers! There's lots of great dance around this state. I hope you can take advantage of all the opportunities you can!
