Thread: Another hello from Colorado

Greetings everyone, glad to have finally registered.

My name is Katie and I'm in Crestone, Colorado, where I founded CrestoneTribal to nurture community dance education and performance opportunities, specifically American Tribal Style and other tribal related forms. Our troupe, BellySattva, has been dancing for four years+ and we have a full summer ahead.

I teach bellydance foundation and drill classes, as well as ATS classes. I am FCBD certified. My personal dance focus is traditional and folkloric Middle Eastern, and Indian classical and folkloric dance, but I dance with women whose ages and tastes span the whole spectrum.

(As a side note, I am an Odissi dance student and am seeking other dancers of this style to meet, practice and learn with.)

We host accomplished teachers whenever we can and this year are honored to have Colleena Shakti come from India this summer.
