Hey Bhuz-I'm back. I have been in a bit of a dancing and creative slump over the past couple of months and I had a hard time getting out of it. I've been told this happens at one time or another during one's dance career. I can think of this happening only once- I was 19 at the time. I've been dancing for 4 plus years and Zills were never a favorite of mine. My first instructor was not very good at teaching them but my second was better. Still I dreaded them and only practiced when we used them for our choreographies. In 2009, I was in a horrific car accident that crippled me in multiple place. My right hand and arm took a serious beating. I had multiple surgeries just to repair the ligament and muscle damage and bones needed to be reset. I didn't pick up my zills ...
Today is my 34th Birthday and my babies woke me up to a little improv veil dance. They've really been practicing their turns alot and they want to perform live. It was sweet. They were so coordinated. When they finished they said that they know I miss grandma and that she was now an angel in the sky and that she loved me.
