Need your opinion!
So, I got the rest of the pictures of Saturday's photoshoot. There are about 15 to 20 that turned out great. The other ones... well, you know how that goes.
I'm thinking about rebuilding my website, there are two pictures I'd like to use, either on the home page, or as a part of the template (on the entire website).
Not sure if they are okay - what do you think? First impression-wise and all.
Yes, it's the eman again... I love that one!

Got the rest of the pics - would these be okay to use?

Darling,
It's a beautiful costume. You look fantastic. Your booty is glorious.
I just have something against not seeing limbs, especially if you're going to use these particular photos so prominently. Give the website visitor a full view of you when they first enter.
(I'm sure I have limbless photos as well...)
That's just my opinion. Your shoot in general turned out really nice! :0)Last edited by Azhia; 03-13-2008 at 04:43 AM.

Aha, the limbs, of course. I always like to remind my students that they have two arms - and here I was worrying about too much booty or too much hair-touching!

First one looks like you've had your arms taken off at the shoulders. I like the second one out of the two. You have an arm and can see more of your face.
I would love to get some professional pictures of me done, but can't afford it.

Nice ass!!!..g.: I think these photos are both lovely (limb-less and all), but I wouldn't put a back-facing shot on your website's front page. I can imagine these photos being used on other pages - especially the second one - perhaps framing text.

I agree - I like the first one a lot, and would use it on the website, just not the 1st picture they should see. The 1st one they'd see should be at least a face and most of your body.

I like the first shot very much! Very bootylicious! :) The second shot is not quite as nice...hair looks a little tousled. ;) (So says the Queen of Frizz!) Slightly jumbled hair is always way more noticeable in photos than performances.

I like the top one better than the bottom, it's bootylicious! The second one looks like you're in mid movement, but it's usable if you really need it. Maybe crop the second one to frame your face and hip?

I say use a more inviting picture on your frontpage. Preferably one in which you look the visitor in the eye, or with a facial expression that draws visitors in.
I wouldn't use the pictures that hide your arms prominently for the same reasons mentioned above. They are lovely pictures, but the armless one is more suitable as art then a promotion pic.

The second one would make a lovely watermark background for a menu.

hmmm - I actually like the 2nd one better.
It would make a nice background to a poster...

Oh-my-gosh - I read this as "menu... the kind you find in a restaurant". I was like
I can't believe she just said that!!!! ..l;,
I think both photos are fabulous and I would definitely use them in the body of your website; and the second one, yes, would work especially well as part of a vertically formatted site menu. ..g.:

I love that costume, it's beautiful *steals*, I also think you have a lovely natural smile.
I used to model when I was younger, and I was once told that if your hands arn't visible people will assume you don't have any .w.: - your photographer should have spotted that, the first pose would have been lovely from a different angle. That said I do like the mood of it, and it might fit well in a cropped space, like up the side of a page on the background. The second one is nice, I like that better, even though you are still an arm short the angle of the pose lets you get away with it. I do think that for an opening page you need a less anonymous shot though. Greet people with that lovely smile.

Re: Got the rest of the pics - would these be okay to use?
I like the bootyliciousness of the first one, but I think it could give the wrong impression to the general public. It makes a really nice line, but it does kind of look like you're aiming your bum and the viewer, rather than executing a lovely belly dance move or standing in a graceful position. (Would be a very different story if your hips were parallel to the floor, rather than being tilted.) And the missing arms are disconcerting.
#2 is cute, and might make a nice sidebar (i.e., with your face facing the text).
I agree with mekyria about using something more open and inviting for the first thing people see.

I love the first one and would have to find a way to use it but I agree that your primary photos should be more inviting... could you use this one as a back-to-home-page link? It looks like your walking away with a 'you coming' look over the shoulder so would be a great 'exit' type icon.
