Thread: St. Louis dancers, not to beat a dead horse here, but...

We had our second community meeting in March, the attendance was not stellar, and at this point it seems like any momentum we gained in the first meeting is slipping away.

I am curious, among those of you who are on Bhuz, how many have gotten the minutes from the March meeting??? I don't think they were widely distributed (I think they may have only gotten as far as the people who attended the meeting, and that wasn't many).

One reason I ask is that the next meeting is scheduled for Sunday June 8th at 4 PM, but neither a host nor a location has been agreed upon yet, and I don't see how that can happen if the community at large isn't aware of the upcoming meeting date.

How can we start getting the word out?

I didn't get the minutes, can you send them to me? I can forward them to everyone on my list, along with the next meeting date & request for a hostess/location.

My (new) studio can be the backup location.

Lauren, that would be awesome. I will forward the info to you right now.

I am also considering volunteering to host, IF no one else will. Since you and I ended up as default facilitators the first time around, I'd really like for some others to take a rotation before I end up in the "hot seat" again!
