what are average prices for summer schools/summer intensives?

number of days? prices?

for a weeklong?
for a long weekend?

with top "local" and "more or less local" teachers and guest instructors. so very very decent teachers, but not top international names...

This is my school's first summer session and I'm starting small. Classes are with high profile well known local teachers. I haven't decided on prices yet either...but I'm thinking that each class will be more like a mini-workshop. One a week for 1.5 hrs for four weeks. So, somewhere around $20 for each class or $70 for the four week session.

I'm looking at doing a week-long in Aug, which is really 3 days (T, W and Th), to avoid having it over a weekend when people are away. Pricing will probably be in the same realm - around $20 drop in or $50 for the session.

I'm not attempting a long-weekend event because I haven't got enough time to promote properly, and historically, attendance isn't that good unless its a huge name in-demand teacher.

I can't remember Artemisia - did you every get your own space? Are you leasing or renting? Sorry, I've lost track of what happened! Whatever it was, I really REALLY hope its been successful!
