Thread: I finally have a new website!!

Same ol' URL, but I finally created a new website with an all-new look and my new Pixie pictures to go with it. There's now a page for my student troupe, Lotus Bloom, and an easy button to sign you up for my email list if you are so inclined.

Check it out and tell me what you think (especially if you find broken pictures and links, typos, etc)!

Heh.. thanks everyone! I really like it mucho better than my last effort too (which was WAY better than my first effort, so I must be improving!). I finally have a gallery I really like... thanks in part to Pixie, but also to my figuring out how to make a nice gallery!

It's great! Clear, easy to navigate, attractive, plus you have all the admin there that anyone could need. Including the payment buttons (just about to put them onto one of my sites).

The Moria info will be up soon I hope. We hit a snag in with our workshop space (a non-refundable $1200 deposit? I don't think so!!) and don't want to take registrations until we know the event has a home. I'll be making more calls Monday and hopefully getting the reg up soon.

I've always used Dreamweaver to build my sites. It took me several sites to get to this point (2 versions of my troupe's site, 2 versions of the Tribal Revolution site, and 3 versions of my own site) and I still don't know about 80% of what that program can do. I keep it pretty basic, really. I've tried reading the book on how to do all the fancy stuff and it's all tecnho mumbo jumbo. What I really need is the Dreamweaver for Dummies book! ..l;,

Thanks! I do owe a lot of that to my makeup and hair artist as well as the photographer and her post-shoot skills though. I am happy with the pix though for sure!

You obviously don't go out and ruin your skin in the sun! I love your photos!

Congrats. I know how much work goes into a website. It looks beautiful. It's definitely an upgrade.

Oh I love to be in the sun, but I always wear SPF a million when I do or I'll burn myself crispy (that and my tattoo artist said she'd come after me in the night).

Mary Kay helps a little too.

Thanks everyone! The tribe's site has been redone too, but it lacks a real gallery right now. Still waiting on some pictures. We have youtube footage up though!
