Contracts for one-time group classes?
Just wondering if any of you out there use a contract for one-time group classes (e.g. "girls' night" type of classes, with or without an associated performance). If so, does any one have a template they would be willing to share? I have a contract for performances, but not one that specifically addresses one-time classes.
Thanks!

I use the same contract as I do for my regular performance, only I change the show "description" to "lesson" instead of "performance".

Just curious...by offering a one-time lesson type deal (with or without performance), does that open you up to any sort of liability if anyone gets hurt?
If so, might be worth adding a sentence or two to cover your bases...

Re: Contracts for one-time group classes?
I am just starting the practice of asking attendees at these types of things to sign liability waivers. I have been reluctant to do this (I always feel like I am being too pushy/paranoid), but a lawyer advised me to do it. Between my liability insurance and the waivers, I think I am OK. Well, I hope.
Question, though...is it worth adding in the contract that participants will be expected to sign liability waivers?

I think if you have insurance you should be ok in terms of liability. I guess waivers can't hurt, but it might kill the "fun" atmosphere!
