Our studio needed a sign... or making new thing with old one
Since last January we are relocated in a new studio that use to be a restaurant that closed down.
The restaurant sign was reading "Restaurant l'Aphrodite" and display the picture of a... ha hem! A naked lady! Not exactly a good representation for a middle eastern school and troupe studio.
So I ask Yves, the only guy dancer in our troupe, to take it down and bring it to my place so I can fix it.
Well, took me about 4 days, to work on it, and voilà!
I think it's much better now and my two friends, Khadija and Cristine, who are the onwners of the school "Al-Madrassa" are thrilled!

Your studio is a nice addition to that area, and naked ladies would not have done the school justice.

It looks great! Though to be honest I had no issues with the naked lady since she was so stylised.

As an artist it did not bother me neither, and after all it represented the goddess Aphrodite, but... yanno we have children and teenagers taking dance classes... Anyway all the gang likes it now!
