Thread: Self Promotional Materials

My day job is as a freelance graphic artist and my production schedule for October is really empty. I have decided to make a special offer to bellydancers in order to drum up some business and help out other dancers trying to find a cost effective way to promote themselves. For the month of October, I will offer a mini self promotion package for $250. This includes the design of a logo, business card, and a promotional postcard. Haven is currently doing the offered work for me, and I'm very happy of our collaboration. For the moment she has designed a logo for my organization, and I love it ! I'm looking forward to see the business cards that she will do now (... hm, Haven, I know you are waiting for me to send you material to work with, I will do that this evening when I come back from class !)

I actually don't need any work done currently, but have you ever looked into getting work through Elance? I found my current graphic designer through Elance, and I think she is just great. Anyway, it seems like there is a lot of work on there. I have used Elance for website design, graphic design and copywriting.

Weird, my good friend and dance mate mentioned Elance to me yesterday as well. I seem to recall I had shied off of elance initially due to some very negative reviews I had read. I should to look back into it.
