Thread: Video Production and Music

I would like to know, this is slightly related to another topic we had about BMI and ASCAP music regulations, if anyone knows/researched about regulations of using music;
1. from the US productions CDs
2. from the other countries like Egypt/Turkey...etc

I heard and/or read that it is ok to use for producing performance video or instructional video with the music that is recorded/created outside other than the US. But how can you sell around the world if that is the case?

How much usually cost to buy music rights if we are required? Do you pay one time fee, per video we sell?

I am interested in producing my first performance video and instructional video in Turkish Roman and Orientale style, but I am having hard time to find information about this....please some input appreciated greatly.

Thanks so much for this information. I will be looking at my CDs now for the P..Publisher Copyright information...and find out what will cost me to use the music. I have tried to contact Asena's publisher in the post. I had no success.
