Thread: My interview was published...

I hope this isn't too big of a faux pas, but OrientalDancer.net interviewed me for an article on producing belly dance events. I wanted to share it with you, since the Business of Belly Dance section on Bhuz is one of my favorite places.

Producing Belly Dancing Events

I'm pretty proud with what my own event has accomplished and I'm humbled anyone else wanted to hear about it. LOL. Tell me what you think ..g.:

Great article Samira. I know first hand the 'labor of love" you put into this event along with your directors and how much your vision has grown in the past years.

I feel that your event offers a well rounded weekend of various dance forms rooted in Middle Eastern Dance (belly dance) & Entertainment that both the seasoned veteran, up and coming and casual hobbyist can partake in.

I know much careful planning goes into creating this event to cater to all the needs of our local dance community and especially those who travel to join us in this wonderful city. And this year your expansions will complete a full circle.

Wishing you much success always and I'm looking forward to teaching again this year.
