Thread: Merchandise!

Who has it? Who uses it? And why?

I have a friend that is big into merch. I do a lot of it for my day job. I am thinking of getting a store up on cafe press...I just want to know more about it and see what others think of it.

I offer t-shirts to my students for sale that read "I Shimmy with Galatea Middle Eastern Dance" on the front and my URL on the back. I have order forms that I hand out i at the beginning of the session, and then I make them to order at Custom T-shirts - Design, buy or sell customized TShirts : Spreadshirt when they turn in the form and payment to me.

I haven't sold many, but I do have a few things with similar branding that I wear myself to classes, workshops and such.

I've had a cafepress store for years -- actually, I have two. One helps to pay for a portion of the maintenance of my site at Belly Dance Stuff (though I'm switching over to Adsense for that, if you're ever on my site and want to click on an ad or two while you're there FEEL FREE!!!!)


The other is for my students, with the studio's logo on it, or our Hips Afire logo for the repertory group members. I think I'm the only one who ever buys that stuff, but it's nice to be able to get just one hat or T-shirt, full color, with my studio logo on it!!
