    Wonderful, positive article about Saphira and Saffron Dance!

    I'm so excited about the article that is in tomorrow's Washington Post magazine (which we get a day early). This might be the best article ever about belly dance -- so positive, nothing icky. Yay Saphira and saffron!!

    great article, one downfall though- he still managed to fit the word gyrate in there. I guess we'll take what we can get!

    Also, this just in from the Department of It Never Rains but It Pours:

    Saphira will be interviewed on NPR on Monday, March 23. The segment on “Tell Me More” with Michel Martin is scheduled to air live at 2 pm EST in the DC area (1 pm in Philly, says Mom) and on demand at The Laws Of Belly Dancing : NPR

    Fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful article. Saphira sounds like my kind of lady!

    I love the "recovering lawyer" line. I am always pushing dancers who enter Wiggles of the West to mention their "other life", so people will quit thinking of us as bored housewives. LOL
